Pre & Post Match Checklist
INSTRUCTIONS - Please select the role type from the below that best describes you.
Pre Match Checklist

Step 1 - Login into PlayHQ Admin (ca.playhq.com) > On the left-hand menu select Game Day > Select the relevant match Date > Then selecting details on the right-hand side of the relevant match.
Step 2 - Select team by clicking on the Select Team button. Note: If using Squads - Please ensure that all required players have been allocated to the squad before doing team selection.
Step 3 - Players will appear under the Team Players - Out section, simply click on the '+' next to their name and they will be added to the team.
Step 4 - You will have the option to select the Wicket Keeper during this process. Under the squad of Players you can select the captain(s).
Step 5 - Once all of your players have been selected click Next. You will then have the option to add coaching staff, including head and assistant coaches. Thenn click Next. again. PlayHQ will prompt you to Add Volunteers (eg. Scorer) if required. Once completed click the Save Team Selection button. Your team will now appear in the game details section in PlayHQ & on the PlayCricket App.

Finding your selected Teams in a Public Setting - Finally all you need to do is find your selected teams through PlayHQ and share them via the way you wish to communicate your Team Selection
Teams selected can be accessed in two key locations, First location is you can encourage the playing group and supporters to go to the PlayCricket App to check Team Selection.
Second location if you are looking to copy the text or take a screenshot of the selected team to post on your chosen platform. You can go to playhq.com.au , Find your club in the search bar, find the relevant competition, select the relevant team, click on the fixtured game for this weekend & The team line ups will appear. You can then do what you need to do with that information that suits you.
Integrating MailChimp to Communicate - PlayHQ does not have a built in communication system to participants, there is the option to get the mailchimp integration to PlayHQ communicate with your playing group.For further information here watch the following:
Accessing Contact Details (Using other emailing platforms) - If you don't use the MailChimp integration, you will need to pull reports or lists of players contact details from PlayHQ. There is two ways you can pull this, you can pull this via a club/competiion wide participant report or through team list reports .
Team List Report
Step 1 - Log into PlayHQ Admin .
Step 2 - Click on Competitions on the left handside (if it hasn't already appeared).
Step 3 - Click View (on the right handside) for the specific competition.
Step 4 - On the right handside under Team Details you will see Print Team List Report with a printer on the left hand side. Click on this.
Participant Report
Step 1 - Log into PlayHQ Admin .
Step 2 - Click on Reports on the left handside
Step 3 - make sure your in the competitions tab & scroll down to Participant Report
Step 4 - Filter for the report details you want, you may want to communicate to the full senior playing list or just relevant competitions in specific associations.
Step 5 - Click Generate on the right handside.
Step 6 - Click on the Generated Reports tab at the top of the page & click download for your report you just generated.

For a Scorer to be set up correctly in E-Scoring they will need have a PlayHQ Full Access Admin account or a PlayHQ E-Scoring account which can be set up from the PlayHQ Admin Portal.
To do this you will need to:
Step 1 - Log In to the PlayHQ Admin Portal > Click on My Organisation on theleft handside > the click on Admins .
Step 2 - Search to see if the admin is there, you can also see towards the right of screen there is a role type.
Step 3 - If you can't see the admin > click on the yellow Invite new admin button at the top of the page.
Step 4 - Fill out the details onscreen including the role type.
Please note the differences in role types -
Full Access Admin - Will have access to the PlayHQ Admin Portal & E-Scoring.
E-Scoring Access - Will only have access to E-Scoring and not the PlayHQ Admin Portal.
See the following as an FYI on the different types of accounts that are available in the PlayHQ system -

Step 1 - Make sure the team manager/ coach has registered via the registration form. (If options not appearing association might not have enabled that registration type).
Step 2 - Once the registration has occurred go to Competitions > Competition Team manager/ coach will be in > Teams > Click on View for the specific team you wish to add the team manager/ coach
Step 3 - Under Team staff click on the relevant role you wish to add
Step 4 - If the Team Manager/Coach has registered under that role type they will appear as a selection to add, Mark the participant you want to add to that role and click allocate.
Step 5 - Once the Team Manager/Coach has been allocated to enable MyTeams access for toggle on the toggle so it appears green.
Step 6 - Once the toggle is on, the coach/ team manager is able to login to their participant portal and has access to their team, to enter teams, scores and stats.

To see if you have access log into PlayHQ.com and see if you have a Team allocated under your MyTeams section when you click on My Account . If your team isn't in this location please contact your club.

Step 2 - Navigate to the Match you are looking for > Enter Manage Mode by clicking on Manage.
Step 3 - Click on Line Up > Select your specific Team > Click Select Team. Here you can select team from a previous line up, select specific players & select the captain.
Step 4 - Once comfortable with your team > Click save > Move forward by selecting the coach > Click save > Then finish up with other volunteers that may be assisting > Finishing up by clicking save .

You may need to communicate an individual or contact the playing group, as a Coach or Captain you can do this through MyTeams via checking the squad (Which is set up from the Club Admin end). To do this you have to follow the following steps:
Step 1 - When in Manage Mode > Click on Squad .
Step 2 - A list of all players in the squad will appear here with number of games they have played > click on the relevant player to view the basic information for that individual.
Super handy if someone is running late or you need someone to player due to a late out.

You will have access to E-Scoring if your club administrator has given you an E-Scoring Admin account or a Full Access Admin Account. If your not sure if you have access head to https://ca.score.playhq.com/ & log in with your PlayHQ account. If your having issues please contact your local administrator. See the below for an understanding on the different admin access levels across Clubs & Associations -

Step 1 - Opening a new browser window visit https://ca.score.playhq.com/auth/login and enter in your E-scoring admin credentials (Please note Cricket Australia recommends Chrome or Microsoft Edge).
Step 2 - You will now need to select the venue where the game is fixtured to be played, the day/s the game is played as well as setting a game pin.
Step 3 - If the venue has multiple grounds, you will need to select the one in use from the left-hand side.
Step 4 -Once ready, Select correct Ground → Game present under upcoming. You will now be able to enter who won the toss and whether they elected to bat or bowl first.

Step 1 - Please don't open the game days or hours before the game to select teams and try and close it . Team Selection on E-Scoring can only be done directly before the game. IF you wish to enter it earlier please contact your club to give you Team Manager access or Full Admin Access.
Step 2 - If no players are selected or teams need to be adjusted, You will have the option to add them using the Edit Line-ups button up the top of your screen. Choose from the allocated players or add fill ins if required.
Step 3 - Choose from the allocated players or add fill ins if required.
Step 4 - You can adjust the line ups whilst E-Scoring the game.

Finishing off a Match (T20, 1 Day & Final Day of 2+ Day Matches)
Step 1 - When a team passes the score or is bowled out before the score you will be prompt to end game. If you continue or this doensn't happen then, Click on the Options button in the top left hand corner.
Step 2 - Click on Submit Game Result
Abandoned or Forfeit Result - Click on the Options button in the top left hand corner. Click on Abandon Game or Forfeit Game .
Finishing Day 1 of a 2+ Day Game
Step 1 - Select the Actions button in the bottom right corner.
Step 2 - Click on Stumps .
Step 3 - Add the bottom of the page in the right hand corner, select Apply Stumps & Exit Game .

PLEASE NOTE: Adjusting scores and results can happen within when the timeframe set by the association to lock access post the match. If your match is locked please contact your association.
Entering Match Results -
Step 1 - In the PlayHQ Administration Portal click on Game Day → Select the correct date → Details.
Step 2 - Once the correct game is selected, simply click through the following: Wickets, Runs & Overs.
Step 3 - If a team is bowled out, you have the ability to tick the ALL-OUT box next to the innings score.
Step 4 - Once all the boxes are filled, click the Update Changes button , which will save scores and publish the match.
Entering Player Scores (Scorecard Details) Results -
Step 1 - In the PlayHQ Administration Portal click on Game Day → Select the relevant match date → Click the Details button on the right of the relevant match.
Step 2 - If the game status is final, click Edit Game in left corner to edit (if the game status is Pending Edit Game will not appear and continue on), click on Scorecard and under Player Statistics select either Home or Away Team.
Step 3 - You will now be able to enter both the batting and bowling scores for your team, please ensure that all the mandatory fields are filled in as you will not be able to save the game.
Step 4 - PlayHQ will notify you if the match score doesn't add up to the batting score, you will receive a warning message. If this appears you can still save the results as required.
