It has been a big week in the world of e-scoring, with conversations around retiring players, unlocking games and ending overs and innings.
In addition, we would like to apologise to users of the PlayCricket website, app and Frogbox who experienced delays in scores being displayed on Saturday afternoon. The delays were resolved prior to the close of play, and we are looking at the cause to take appropriate action.
Follow along below for some useful tips to make match days run smoothly. |
End overs, innings and more using the Actions menu To end an over or innings, or record a break, scorers can click on the Actions button in PlayHQ e-scoring and select from the menu.
We have created a a detailed summary of the actions menu, including when each action may be performed.
Retiring a player (not out) If a player needs to be retired (not out), for example due to injury or reaching the maximum number of runs in a junior game, scorers can mark this event correctly in PlayHQ e-scoring by following this process. This will allow the player (if eligible under the competition rules) to return to bat at a later stage of the game
For Associations: How to unlock a game for a club if it was not closed properly If a club misses the window for entering results and is locked out, the association can provide 24-hour temporary club access. Follow this guide for instructions on how to unlock a game.
