Overview:
This support article guides users through configuring the number of umpires appointed to each grade using OfficialsHQ. Grades and fixtures are managed centrally through PlayHQ, with automatic synchronisation to OfficialsHQ.
Steps:
All grades and fixtures are managed by competition administrators through the PlayHQ platform, grades are then automatically synchronised from PlayHQ to OfficialsHQ; there's no need to create them separately.
To configure the number of umpires per grade in OfficialsHQ navigate to Competition Management > Grades section in the menu at the top of the screen.
When entering the screen for the first time, a pop up will automatically appear to set the initial filter for your competition. To filter for your competition, you will need to select the Year, State, and Association.
Select the specific grade you wish to configure by clicking on it and access its settings by clicking on the gear icon.
A new pop up will appear on screen; to add the number of umpires click on the pencil icon under the Update heading, this will open up the Number heading where you can add how many umpires are to be allocated to this grade's matches. We recommend 1 or 2.
Once the number of umpires has been added click on the tick located under the Update heading.
Once done click on Close to take you back to the Grades page.
The updated umpire count will reflect under the '# UMP panels' column for that Grade.
Repeat for any other grades needing umpire adjustments.
