Overview:
This article explains how umpire administrators can manage the publication of umpire appointments, offering flexibility in timing and selection based on specific competition needs.
Once umpires have been appointed to matches, umpire administrators have the flexibility to publish appointments at their convenience and frequency, as well as the ability to choose which grade to publish and when.
Steps:
To initiate the publication of appointments, navigate to Appointments > Publication Appointments, which can be found in the menu bar at the top of the page.
Upon accessing the page initially, a pop-up will appear to set the initial filter for the screen, you will need to make sure your State, Association and To Date you want to publish your appointments till. Click Ok once filled out which will take you to the Publications page.
PLEASE NOTE: It is suggested that the To Date be the Monday after the last day of the Match.
On the left-hand side of the page under the settings heading select the Appointment type, the Umpire type.
Once the umpire types have been selected, an overview of grades with appointments available for publication will be displayed. You can choose one, multiple, or all grades to review the appointments.
Click on Show publications to view the overview.
In the overview, you can opt to publish all appointments, appointments for a specific grade, or appointments for a particular match. Tick boxes are provided to select or deselect assignments and/or levels as needed.
To finalise the selection and publish the chosen appointments, use the 'Chains' symbol located in the top right-hand corner.
