This article guides users through the process of updating their email address in their PlayHQ account. It covers steps to access the account settings, change the email address, verify the new email through a verification code, and log back in with the updated credentials. Steps:
To update your email address in your PlayHQ account, login to playhq.com and click on your name in the top right hand corner, then click My Account.
Once in your account, click on the profile tab and within the Personal Details section you can click the Change Email button.
Once you click change email, enter the new email address you would like to use for your account, and click continue. Please note that when you change your email address, this change will take place everywhere this email is in use within PlayHQ, including for all dependents within your account.
If you enter an email address that is not already in use within a different PlayHQ account, you will be taken to the verify email page. You will receive an email to your new email address with a verification code to type in, then press confirm code.
Once you press confirm code, your email address has been successfully changed and you will be logged out of PlayHQ. You can log back in by typing in your new email address and your password.
Please note: if you attempt to change your email address to an email address that is already in use within a different PlayHQ account, you will receive this message.
If you receive the above message, please submit a request in the top right hand corner or use Skipper the chat function to contact PlayCricket Support for assistance with merging the two accounts together. When contacting us, please provide the below details that are in your PlayHQ account currently, and they will assist with having the two accounts merged.

- Account date of birth
- Account phone number
- Account postcode
- Both (2) email address’ currently used for the two PlayHQ accounts
- Which email address is your preferred email address to continue using for your PlayHQ account?
If for any reason you are unable to login to your PlayHQ account, and cannot reset your password as you no longer have access to the email in use for your PlayHQ account, please submit a request in the top right hand corner or use Skipper the chat function to contact PlayCricket Support for assistance. When contacting Playcricket Support, please provide the below details that are in your PlayHQ account currently, and they will assist with getting you logged into your account so you can change your email address.
