The 2022/23 season introduced the National Registration Fee (NRF) for premier and community cricket. It consolidated participation costs into a single fee and included insurance coverage. The NRF also contributed to digital services and improvements in technology experiences. The fee is $16.00 for juniors (under 18) and $22.50 for seniors (18 and above) based on the registrant's age, regardless of the competition they're joining. Coaches, team managers, and volunteers are exempt from the fee but still covered by the insurance policy. The NRF is charged upon the first registration each year and covers competitions completed within 12 months. Secondary registrations may require an additional NRF payment if the competition extends beyond the 12-month coverage.
