Do you need to set up a Woolworths Cricket Blast Program on PlayHQ so your club can start to take registrations? You are at the right spot!
This section takes you through each step, from selecting the program/season, to setting up your registration form, custom questions & merchandise, right through to creating and managing your groups.
The first thing you should do if you haven't already is get in contact with your local cricket manager to help get you started. Your Cricket Manager will reach out to the Play Cricket support team to get the program shared down to your organisation on PlayHQ.
Once this has happened, you can watch the following video on how to set up a program or go through the list of steps below, then you’ll be ready to welcome kids to your program!
Setting Up A Program - Full Video Run-Through
Step 1 - Selecting the Specific Program & Season
Steps -
- In the PlayHQ Administration Portal click on the Program's icon on the left sidebar.
- Click on the specific Program you require.
- Click on the Season you are running the program in.

Step 2 - Setting up Custom Questions
Steps:
In the PlayHQ Administration Portal, click on the Programs icon on the left sidebar.
Click on the specific Program > then the Season.
Click on the Registration tab.
Click on the Custom Fields tab.
Press the yellow + new button.
Type the question required and select the drop-down list or text box under the title Type.
If drop down is selected, type the drop-down options you want the participant to select.
You can choose the role you want this question to be relevant to by clicking the check box next to the relevant role.
Click the yellow create icon in the top right corner.

Step 3 - Setting up Merchandise.
Steps to Add Merchandise:
Navigate to Products:
- Log into the PlayHQ Administration Portal and click on Products in the left sidebar.
- Select Merchandise:
From the dropdown menu under Products, choose Merchandise.
- Add Merchandise:
Click the Add Merchandise button in yellow.
- Fill out Merchandise Details:
- Complete the form by entering:
- Merchandise Name
- Description
- Add an Image
Product Variations, if applicable.
- Complete the form by entering:
- Add Custom Fields (if needed):
Optionally, add a Custom Field such as a shirt name or number specific to this product.
- Save Merchandise:
- Click the yellow Save button to save the merchandise details.

Step 4 - Setting up a Programs Online Registration Form
Steps -
- In the PlayHQ Administration Portal click on the Programs icon on the left sidebar.
- Click on the specific Program > Then the Season
- In the Registration tab> Click on Set Up Form
- Fill out all the information in the form on the page to customise it to your specific program needs.

Step 5 - Creating Groups
Why are groups important?
Groups enable the registration form to surface to PlayCricket
Groups also allow you to provide more specific information about the program such as venue and time
Steps -
In the PlayHQ Administration Portal click on the programs icon on the left sidebar.
Click on the specific Program > Then the Season.
Click on the Group tab.
Click on the +Add Group.
Fill out all the information in the form on the page to customise to that specific group needs.
NOTE: You can restrict on how many registrations can register to a program or group through registration limits.

Step 6 - Removing Participants from a Group
Steps -
In the PlayHQ Administration Portal click on the programs icon on the left sidebar.
Click on the specific Program > then the Season.
Click on the Groups tab.
Click on the View icon on the right for the specific group.
Click on Unallocated on the participants you don't want in the group.

Step 7 - Allocating participants to a Group
Steps -
In the PlayHQ Administration Portal click on the programs icon on the left sidebar.
Click on the specific Program > then the Season.
Click on the Groups tab.
Click on the View icon on the right for the specific group.
Click on Allocate Participants.
Click on the box on the right for the participants you want to allocate to the group > Press Allocate Participants.
