Problem Encountered: My innings has ended before the default over limit was reached.
In Junior Format Cricket there are often occasions where there are less players in a lineup than the 'max batters' setting limit. This means that a team may be 'all out' but not yet have reached the wicket limit setup for that specific Competition or Grade. This requires the innings to be manually ended.
When an innings in manually ended, the eScore logic assumes this has been ended early for rain, bad light or other reasons and defaults the second team to the same over limit the first team was given.
If you encounter this, you can re-adjust the parameters using the below steps.
Check the Parameters shown on the eScore main screen (highlighted in yellow). If your previous innings was manually ended, this over limit will likely match the amount of over the first team faced.
To update the over limit, click the 'Actions' button in the bottom right and then 'Parameters'. This will allow you to adjust the over limit up or down. The miminum being the end of the current over, the maximum the default Grade setting.
You can edit this anytime up until before the last ball of the current Over Limit. If you reach the over limit, you will see the screen below promoting you to Submit Game Results. If you still need to adjust the over limit, click 'Return to Scorecard' in the top -right, undo the last event and then the Actions button will appear again to increase the over limit. Once you make the update, you can re-add the final event of the over and continue to score.
