As part of Australian Cricket’s commitment to Children and Young people it is strongly recommended that all clubs intending to livestream should collect the parental consent of children and young people participating in these matches.
While your club may not have a video streaming equipment there is a possibility that an opposition team may intend to livestream their home matches.
By collecting consent (or withdrawal of consent) at the time of registration we hope that clubs and participants feel safe when participating in a match that is being livestreamed knowing there are appropriate measures in place.
See here how to update your video streaming consent status.
Disclaimer: Reasonable efforts are made to ensure that club and association members, as well as volunteers, are informed of each participant’s consent status. Notwithstanding these efforts, parents and guardians who do not wish for their child to be photographed or included in livestreamed content are strongly encouraged to communicate their preferences directly to the relevant club representatives.
