This article provides an overview of the steps required to resolve an issue for Android users (build 9.0.0 or 9.0.1) where after upgrading their PlayCricket App their home screen/dashboard is blank.
If your home screen looks like below the following steps should reset your account and correctly display any followed Competitions or Players that you have previously followed.

Log out of the PlayCricket app and login back in
- Navigate to the Account settings screen (AC) on the PlayCricket app.
- Under the Account section select Log out. This shall log you out of the App and return you to the account settings screen.
- Under the Account section select Log in with CricketID. This will log you into the App and return you to the account settings screen.
- Navigate to Home and your dashboard should display as below (example). If this doesn’t resolve the issue please refer to Clear the cache settings of the PlayCricket App.
Clear the cache settings of the PlayCricket App
- On your Android device navigate to the Settings of the device.
- Within Settings navigate to Apps.
- Within Apps search for and open the PlayCricket app
- Within the settings (App info) of the PlayCricket app select Storage and cache
- Within Storage select Clear storage. This shall clear the settings of the PlayCricket app and reset it.
- Launch the PlayCricket app on your device.
- You will be logged out of the PlayCricket app. Select Log in with CricketID. This will log you into the App and return you to screen that you logged in from. Navigate to Home and your dashboard should display as below (example). If this doesn’t resolve the issue please refer to Uninstall and re-install the PlayCricket App

- On your Android device navigate to the Settings of the device.
- Within Settings navigate to Apps.
- Within Apps search for and open the PlayCricket app
- Within the settings (App info) of the PlayCricket app select Uninstall
- This will remove the PlayCricket app from your device, navigate to the following page to re-download the PlayCricket app https://play.cricket.com.au/playcricket-app.
- Upon install launch the PlayCricket app on your device.
- You will be logged out of the PlayCricket app. Select Log in with CricketID. This will log you into the App and return you to screen that you logged in from. Navigate to Home and your dashboard should display as below (example).
